Malaysia competed in the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan from 24 August to 5 September 2021 which was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Malaysia has certified two para badminton players for each of the next events into the Paralympic tournament based mostly on the Para Badminton World Rankings.
